About Money Gupta

My area of research interest studying the immune response in viral and bacterial infections using  computational and wet lab approaches. I utilize genomics and transcriptomics data from cells to identify the correlates of protection in Hepatitis C and SARS-CoV-2 infection previously. We aim to identify what genes are driving the phenotypic response upon infection, and what factors assess the severity of diseases.

I was working as an Associate Computational Scientist at the Tisch Cancer Institute at Mount Sinai in the areas of cancer Immunology until Jan 2025. prior to that I have worked as a postdoctoral fellow at German Cancer Research Institute until Mar 2022. I completed my PhD at University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia in adaptive immune responses looking at the T and B cell responses in infected human blood samples collected from patients in New South Wales, Australia.
